Smart Grain Silo & Storage Health Monitor

Protecting stored grains from hidden spoilage is a huge challenge for farmers, warehouses, and food industries. This smart IoT system continuously tracks the CO₂ levels, temperature, and humidity inside silos or storage units — early signs of insect infestation or fungal growth.

📡 Using an ESP32 with NDIR CO₂ sensor + DHT22/Si7021 humidity sensor, the system builds a real-time profile of storage health. If CO₂ rises beyond safe thresholds, the system immediately triggers mobile alerts, signaling that grain deterioration may have begun. Integrated LoRa backhaul ensures long-range communication from rural silos to the central monitoring hub.
