Component: Wildlife & Forest Monitoring System (LoRa + IoT + Solar-Powered)
Original price was: ₹7,800.₹6,199Current price is: ₹6,199.
Protecting wildlife and preserving forests is one of the biggest challenges of our time. Imagine a system that can silently detect animal activity in deep forests, even where there is no mobile network coverage. Thatβs exactly what this project delivers β a LoRa-powered Wildlife Monitoring Node built using LoPy + LILYGO ESP32 boards.
Students donβt just build a project here β they create a real-world eco-tech solution used by conservationists and researchers worldwide.
Node 1 (LoPy):
Powered by solar + battery, equipped with PIR motion sensors and sound sensors, this node detects the movement and activity of animals in remote forest areas. The data is transmitted over long-range LoRa communication, traveling several kilometers without the need for mobile towers.Node 2 (LILYGO LoRa32):
Acts as the receiver station. It logs the animal activity, displays instant updates on its OLED screen, and forwards the data via WiFi to a cloud dashboard. Researchers or forest officers can then monitor activity in real time on their mobile apps or laptops.π₯ Trending Technology: Combines LoRa (long-range IoT), ESP32, solar power, and cloud integration β all in one project.
π Real-World Relevance: Solves practical problems in wildlife conservation, forest safety, and eco-research.
π² Mobile App Dashboard: Data is accessible anytime, anywhere β giving the project a modern IoT finish.
π‘ Career Booster: Great for resumes and placement interviews β shows skills in IoT, Embedded Systems, Cloud, and Wireless Communication.
π Innovation Ready: Extendable into research papers, patents, or startup ideas.
